Hi, my name is Choco!

Choco is a very sensitive dog who is slowly learning that humans can be safe. She arrived at the shelter extremely fearful and shut down, clearly having experienced serious trauma. Choco does not allow physical contact yet — she is afraid of being touched, and raised hands still frighten her. According to the vets, this behavior strongly suggests she was physically abused in the past.
